Clear Language Training

“Thank you so much for the wonderful workshop. There was lots of practical information. I have already used several of the ideas in a procedure I was writing.”

Sherri Ernst, Program Director

When your organization makes a commitment to clarity, you gain real benefits – customer loyalty, efficient use of staff time, and safety in the workplace. Bring the techniques of Clear Language and Design in-house with a full-day workshop, covering:

  • The issue of readability in the context of Canada’s demographics
  • How to clarify the purpose of a document and get results
  • How to develop an audience profile
  • Ways to test usability and get feedback from readers
  • Techniques of organization
  • Tone, language and sentence structure
  • Design and navigation

“Great facilitators - provided practical examples with our own samples of work; very government related. The follow up coaching session was a great opportunity to get one-to-one assistance and ideas related to my specific work area - an added bonus to an already engaging and informative course!”

Ontario Government Communications Staff
